Hashtags
Hashtags are a means of tagging Twitter messages with meta-data for easy categorization of meaning. Conceived after the coverage of the San Diego Fires by Nate Ritter; we discovered a need for real-time tracking of the twitter network. Chris Messina has been advocating the use of hashtags through several different posts. We have outstanding support from the Twitter community and are busy adding new features all the time.
